  • be able to present answers in a user-friendly way – and run quick sensitivities on those answers
  • be able to handle changes in key forecast milestone dates without bother
  • be a significant step closer to genuine collaborative working on business forecasting challenges
FAST improves forecasting for you and your clients

Who should attend?

Anyone who who has to regularly create, update or review spreadsheets will benefit from this course, from the corporate sector to large public sector organisations to small businesses and would-be entrepreneurs needing to produce reliable forecasts to secure funding.

For those with limited experience of working with spreadsheets in a forecasting context, it provides a solid introduction to best practice using FAST design standards. For more experienced forecasters, it transforms the way in which MS Excel may be used to achieve business objectives.

Outline

The course introduces participants to the building blocks of best practice spreadsheet design and construction. Participants will work with FAST design standards to transform their approach, style and productivity.  Keystroke shortcuts will improve speed and accuracy. By the end of the course, participants will have built a number of discrete business forecasts based on real world scenarios.

Outcome

Delegates will reap the benefits of learning to work collaboratively, to the same standard and with improved effectiveness and productivity. They will become skilled at all the techniques that make business and financial forecasting a swift, reliable and rigorous process.
